Click here or on the photos to zoom out Independence Day was celebrated with a variety of activities throughout the Tri-Lakes area including a Children’s Carnival and Barn Dance July 3, a 4-mile run in Palmer Lake July 4, the "Biggest Small Town Parade in Colorado" in Monument followed by the Monument Street Fair and Concert in the Park, and concluded with "The Best Small Town Fireworks Show in America" in Palmer Lake.
